this app is a device administrator and must be deactivated before uninstalling

Have you ever found error “this app is a device administrator and must be deactivated before uninstalling” on your android phone

You can uninstall the apps by performing below steps

1.      Go to SETTINGS

2.      Go to Location and Security

3.      Go to Device Administrator

4.      deselect the application that you want to uninstall.

5.      Click deactivate

And then you can uninstall the apps

I found this issue with one of my application, exMail
